Welcome to Real Mountain Biking Route 118

Real    Mountain    Biking    Route   118
Real Coffee Culture Farming Route 118

The Real Skills and Toughness Proving Route
Please allow me to ask you guys
Are you man(brave) enough?
Do you dare?
I doubt !
OK You have that courage then...
Right here is Chiang Mai in northern Thailand,
the city of everything you would ever need, the lands of mountainous countrysides, big forests, rice fields,
plantations of food-crops, and good Arabica
coffee plantations - coffee culture:
the " coficulture " as I named it.
Most of the cyclists here love to ride up the popular Doi Suthep - Doi Pui mountainous national park on the western side of the city, otherwise, with more time, they would ride Mae Rim - Mae Sa -
Sa Moeng - Hang Dong Mountainous Loop.
But those are what everyone who is a tough cyclist does.
However, if you think you are that tough or really tough enough
and more than that then come and try this Coffee Cuture Loop.
This passage is located up on the northeast of the city of
Chiang Mai just some little 30 kilometers from downtown and on
highway 118, beyond well-known Amphur "Doi Saket" town,
the main road for Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai.
It's so conveniently close.

The beauty of this riding loop, that time surely forgot, of approx. only around as little as some 30 kilometers is so green and peaceful. The terrain is so steep up and down along mountainous countryside all small paved roads with truly sharp curves for you
to deal with. It leads you through big forest with so many
lovely streams and small falls. Passing some villages
of coffee farmers and hill-tribes.

The old coffee culture here is also so very nice to see
while you stop for some rest. You would see the seedings,
the young shoots, the planting, the plantations,
the cultivation as well as the cherry beans processing
preparation to make coffee beans, lovely.

This riding loop needs extreme
skills and toughness.
If you think you're real tough and strong enough then come by and go ahead, but allow me to say that: any rider attempting this Coffee Culture Loop should be really well prepared in all aspects to come out in one piece !!!

YES !, Prove if you're
as tough as a camel - It's been
really built to last.  ( No Dope ! )

To Ride This Coffee Culture Loops At Your Own Risk !
And To Test That Your Equipment Is Good Enough And
Also You're A Real Man(Brave) Enough Too !!!

*****  Now Superb - Please Follow Up Down Here  *****

May I also recommend, in case you: riders - cyclists,
bikers, motorists, feel like

making a nice short journey; "hit the road": in a real
mountainous countryside, and become more interested
in real good coffee or " Coficulture " as I put up,
the Suan Lahu coffee people at suanlahu.org ( please click )

who produce, under cooperative - sharing system,
superb delicious real organic coffee
to genuinely satisfy our big craving appetite for
real good coffee only
and these real mountainous windy roads would absolutely
satisfy our starving for riding in the same time. !

What awesome there is that they also offer
real attractive " Visiting Programs " for everyone,
awesome for students, at any suitable length of times.
You must go there to take part and show your support
for the people there, they're great people and nice friends.

Please make sure you check out their website for contacts.

Just go further northeast on the same highway 118
of Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai main road and at about
a distance of 69 kilometers turn right off ( at Nam Rin )
from the main road for just some further 10 kilometers
stretch to Suan Lahu Coffee Plantations.

This short "Coffee Culture Stretch" is actually really
a nicest riding route ( back and forth ) with not that many
climbs to the Lahu villages and it's all the way on
gorgeous small snaked-concrete road.

And don't forget to try their " civet coffee ", just superbly perfect !

" There's a real wonder of being up there, believe me ."
(Please Click here for Google-Map of the
"Coffee Culture Stretch"
ride to Suan Lahu Organic Coffee Farm)

Important Please Read:
Remarks: " I also would like to make suggestion about taking these
" Coffee Culture Stretch " and/or " Coffee Culture Loop " rides or drives
that all explorers should take extreme caution for steep climbs as well as
steep downhills especially, at truly sharp and blind curves on-coming traffics
could always possibly cut into your lanes, so always keep most most left.
For cyclists aiming to do Coffee Culture Loop it might also be even more
pleasurable if you take the " second turn off "  point ( as marked and shown in
link to Google Map ), approx. 40 kilometers from downtown Chiang Mai,
from main highway 118 to begin this Coffee Culture Loop as
the overall terrain has less steep climbs.
Being self-supported & self reliable in all possible manners
while doing these trips are highly recommended as well.
Thank you,"

P.S. If preferred, these two other coffee growers - producers
are second to none, they're renowned in northern Thailand,

( but personally only my second choices. ! )
( I won't tell you what my first choice is
but they're at kilometer 69 and
10 k. further up the mountain. !!! and I always
have to make sure my coffee is 100 percent
real organic only and never others. )

Click here for Google-Map, of where the others are,
for showing turn off points off highway 118 then for
Doi Chang Coffee Farm another 20 kilometers further,
and for
Doi Wawee Coffee Farm 50 kilometers further.

There are also quite a few more other farms
along route 118, as well as, along main
highway road-sides, several Coffee bars
for you to enjoy your rides or drives.

Tell me: What? and Where? if you don't take this hwy. 118
" The Road of Real Coffee Merchants - Artisans "
all in amazing northern Thailand.
